The Digitivity Cage is a Web security product that protects companies from the potential risk of running active content, such as Java applets, by locking up the applets in a secure server outside the corporate firewall.
The applets are then displayed remotely to the user's browser using a high-speed display interface called the BrowserBridge.
APM commissioned Human-Computer Interface to develop reference and configuration guides, both in printed form and as a series of HTML files for on-line access by the network administrator. HCI also produced an on-line help file in Java help format which was context linked to the Java-based administration software.
Since developing this documentation APM has been acquired by Citrix Systems Inc, and the Digitivity Cage is now part of the Citrix product line.
