Primare is a Swedish hi-fi company whose products are characterised by clean, minimalist design, and a minimum of knobs and buttons. Their flagship preamplifier, the PRE30, is a high-quality two-channel preamplifier with a tape output, and a special surround bypass feature to allow it to be integrated with a surround system based on a third-party processor.
The PRE30 provides balanced outputs and two balanced inputs, giving an entirely balanced signal chain when used in conjunction with a balanced power amplifier.
Primare commissioned Human-Computer Interface to develop a documentation design appropriate to their philosophy, and this was followed by a series of user guides for each of their products.
